Two Solar Plants in Castile-La Mancha

The two photovoltaic plants are in Cuenca (Castile-La Mancha) and have a total of 100 MW. The Romeral photovoltaic plant (50 MW) will consist of 144,900 modules and will be built between the towns of Alarcón and Olmedilla de Alarcón. The Olmedilla plant (50 MW), with 135,090 modules, will be installed in the municipalities of Valdeverdejo, Alarcón and Olmedilla de Alarcón. Once the plants start operating, scheduled for this year, they will produce clean energy for an equivalent population of over 24,500 households/year, in the case of Romeral; and around 30,000 households/year, in Olmedilla.
