The multinational Eiffage Group, one of the largest Construction and Concession companies in Europe, has been present in Spain for 40 years.
In 1979 , the Fougerolle Group (a company that, together with SAE, created the Eiffage Group in 1993), acquired 50% of Panasfalto, a Spanish company dedicated to the manufacturing and laying of asphalt mixtures.
It was in 2003 when the Eiffage Group commenced its activity in the energy sector, by purchasing Electrosur XXI, Hecolsa, Lectro-90, FM2, Sectrol, etc. to form Eiffage Energía.
Finally, the Eiffage Group commenced its activity in the Metal sector in Spain, thanks to the acquisition of Emypisa in 2005 .
It currently operates in Spain in the Energy, Infrastructure and Metal sectors through its three largest companies: Eiffage Energía, Eiffage Infraestructuras and Eiffage Metal.
These companies provide work to over 5,000 employees and achieved a total turnover in excess of 934 million euros in 2019.
