Andévalo Solar Farm

The Andévalo solar plant is located in the Andalusian municipality of Puebla de Guzmán, in Huelva, and has 50 MW of power and 150,000 photovoltaic modules. It is located in an area of 150 hectares. The new plant will guarantee the supply of green electricity to the four HEINEKEN Spain factories and their offices. The photovoltaic farm will prevent atmospheric emissions of more than 15,000 tons of CO2 per year. In addition, it will help to reactivate economic activity and employment. This facility is being built within the largest wind complex in Continental Europe, El Andévalo. A wind farm that has 292MW of power, and which has been promoted and managed by Iberdrola since 2010.
