Eastern Zone and Biomedical
During his visit to Spain, where he attended the Eiffage Energía Steering Committee, Ludovic had the opportunity to visit several of the company’s facilities and branches. After visiting Campanario, he travelled to Valencia, to hold a meeting at the headquarters of the Territorial Directorate of the Eastern Zone, headed by Miguel Jorro Pont. From there, the business lines and strategic actions of Eiffage Energía in the Eastern Zone are designed. An area that covers the provinces of Castellón, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia and the Balearic Islands. The workforce in this area comprises 457 employees spread over the different provinces. Also in the province of Valencia, specifically in the Paterna technology park, Ludovic was able to visit the new Biomedical and Electromedical headquarters. Instalaciones Biomedical is the company’s trademark for the maintenance of medical equipment. Through this trademark, Eiffage Energía performs more than 300,000 technical repairs a year, maintains more than 240 health centres and more than 300 hospitals and clinics. In addition, through its subsidiary Electromedical, the company remains committed to continuous specialization in the biomedical engineering sector. In this way, it is contributing to a better response to the needs of health centres. During the visit, Ludovic, accompanied by José Manuel Martínez and the managing director of Maintenance and Electromedicine, Pedro González, was able to check in situ the analysis and preparation work of specific equipment in the area, such as respirators, ultrasound machines or X-ray equipment, and he learned about the challenges of this area for next year.
New Control Centre
Back in Albacete, the international managing director of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes visited the Eiffage Energía headquarters in Spain. He started with the training tent and then headed to the new Control Centre. It is a centre from which Eiffage Energía controls a large part of the solar plants that we have in operation and maintenance. The international managing director of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes was particularly interested in asset management. Both from the operational point of view, where the monitoring and control task requires a swift reaction; as well as from the preventive and predictive point of view, in which a more in-depth analysis of the behaviour of each facility is carried out. Facilities that Ludovic highlighted as an example of innovation for the entire Group, ensuring that Eiffage Energía is at the forefront in this matter. Ludovic was also interested in the new technologies that the company is implementing and developing, such as the latest generation drones. Technologies that allow us to improve services, both in terms of quality and human resources, as well as being more effective and more precise. To round off his visit to the Albacete facilities, the international head of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes visited the High Voltage building, located on the Romica industrial estate road, where more than 40 employees work.
