The complex comprises six wind farms; two electrical substations; two high-voltage lines; and a 30KV overhead line. The project as a whole represents total power of 244 MW. https://youtu.be/whB7jaxvCr0

The complex has 63 wind turbines, 49 kilometres of roads and 47 kilometres of underground cable trenches. In total, 510,000 square metres of earthworks have been carried out, which is the equivalent of building three times the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

239 people have worked on this project.

It will supply clean energy to more than 194,200 homes each year. In addition, it will prevent the emission of 170,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.

Zero emissions by 2050

This is the first project we have done for Repsol in the renewable energy sector. Last year the company announced it was going to refocus its strategy to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Repsol’s renewable assets under development consolidate the company as a major player in the generation of low-emission electricity in the Iberian Peninsula. At Eiffage Energía, we have 90 wind farms built and more than 3GW of installed power; and 77 photovoltaic plants with over 3.5 GW of installed power. Figures that position us as a benchmark company in the sector.
